6 Day Masai Mara & Amboseli Kenya Safari

Day 1 : Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Early morning after your breakfast, our guide will pick you up at 7:00am from your hotel in Nairobi to transfer to Amboseli National Park. You will be briefed first upon our 6 – day trip then embark a drive south through scenic views of the Nairobi Suburbs to Amboseli.

Upon arrival to the park, we enjoy an enroute game drive to our booked accommodation to check in for lunch and a relaxation shortly after which we head out for our evening game drive. Amboseli is a home to various wildlife species to include: lions, cheetahs, Leopards, rhinos and abundant bird species among other wildlilife species.

After the delightful experience, we return to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 : Full Day Amboseli National Park Game Drives

Today we enjoy a full day game viewing experience in Amboseli National Park. Amboseli covers lush grasslands fed by the melting snow of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Standing at 5896m above sea level the snow-topped mountain forms the backdrop to game viewing.

Amboseli National Park hosts some of Kenya’s largest elephant herds and is famous for its big elephant bulls with their impressive tusks. The Game Park also contains huge populations of buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos and various antelope species, such as impala. Amboseli Park is also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, jackals, warthogs and various other wildlife and bird species

Day 3 : Amboseli to Lake Naivasha, Afternoon Boat Safari and Crescent Island Walking Tour

Early morning after your breakfast, we will say goodbye to Amboseli then embark a drive through Nairobi to Lake Naivasha. This drive takes us back to Nairobi with an enroute stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point for photography shortly after which we will continue our journey to Naivasha.

The drive further takes us through parallel scenic views of the Great Rift Valley to arrive to our booked accommodation in time for lunch and relaxation upon checking in. This afternoon we visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. Crescent Island hosts grazers like the Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Common Waterbuck and Buffalo.

After the amazing experience we return to accommodation dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 : Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

Early morning after your breakfast, we say goodbye to Lake Naivasha to embark on a drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy yet another scenic drive through the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley before arriving to our booked accommodation to check in just in time for lunch and relaxation at camp. We later head out for an evening game drive.

The Masai Mara is Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife reserve, and arguably its best. The park is dominated by open grassland, interspersed with rocky hills, acacia woodland, and riparian forest. Mara Mara is rewarding not just for predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah but for spotted hyena, bat-eared fox, and blackbacked jackal as well.

Elephant and buffalo are common, and a number of black rhinos still survive. Other ungulates include impala, eland, and reedbuck. A checklist of 450-plus birds includes raptors and ground birds such as ostrich and ground hornbill.

At sun dawn we take advantage of the photographic moment then return to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 : Full Day Masai Mara Wildlife Activities

Today we spend the next 6 to 8 hours game viewing in Kenya’s leading Masai Mara National Reserve. We will embark on two game drives; in the morning game drive and the evening game drive with an option to carry picnic breakfast to spend the entire morning out in the wild or return to accommodation for breakfast and lunch shortly after which we head back to search for the big five and other wildlife species to include: Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, Wildebeest, buffaloes, zebras, jackals, spotted hyenas, topi, impala, Hartebeests, nat eared foxes, the crocodiles and hippopotamus of the Mara and Talek Rivers.

We will have a full day to track the resident wildlife in Masai Mara National Reserve. After the thrilling day of magnificent game viewing in Masai Mara National Reserve, we retire at our accommodation for dinner and overnight stay

Day 6 : Morning Masai Mara enroute Game Drive to Nairobi

We enjoy our last breakfast at our accommodation before we pack up and depart for an enrroute game drive to catch our last glimpses of the resident wildlife. We depart the Masai Mara and drive back to Nairobi with a lunch stop then continue to your booked Hotel in Nairobi or drop-off at the airport for your departure flight home
